Jack and Sherry Harris
Jack Harris is a world missionary, evangelist, biker, and lifelong friend to people from all walks of life. Known for his bold faith and compassionate heart, Jack has spent five decades building bridges in remote villages, urban slums, and among outlaw bikers at rallies around the world. His calling has always been simple: love people well, meet them where they are, and never underestimate the power of friendship.
Jack is the founder and president of Global Messenger Service, a missions organization he established with his wife, Sherry, to reach the unreached, raise up local leaders, and respond to humanitarian needs. Since entering full-time ministry in 1976, Jack and Sherry have traveled together to more than 70 countries, holding crusades, planting churches, providing humanitarian aid, and sharing the message of Jesus.
Through their work, Global Messenger has also helped establish children’s homes and drill hundreds of clean-water wells in rural villages across India.
Jack and Sherry walk hand in hand in life and ministry. Sherry travels and serves alongside Jack full time, connecting with women from many cultures on a deeply personal level. She encourages them in their giftings, mentors them in their callings, and inspires them to live confidently as women of God.
A natural leader and motivator, Jack challenges pastors and leaders around the world to influence their communities and lead with boldness, conviction, and integrity. As a teacher, mentor, and trusted friend, he helps pastors, missionaries, and leaders become more effective in reaching and discipling people for Christ.
At the heart of everything Jack and Sherry do is a shared passion for reaching those who are lost, hurting, and desperate—and introducing them to the One who restores hope and brings the heart back to life. Whether ministering around the world, riding his Harley, sharing coffee, or sitting across from a neighbor in need, Jack carries the same message: people matter.
Jack and Sherry reside in St. Louis, Missouri. They are the proud parents of three daughters and grandparents to a granddaughter and grandson.
